Kashmir is the northwestern region of the Indian subcontinent. Historically the term Kashmir was used to refer to the valley lying between the Great Himalayas and the Pir Panjal range. Cradled in the lap of majestic mountains of the Himalayas, Kashmir is the most beautiful place on earth.

There are many local bakeries and restaurants that you can enjoy in Srinagar.

From Pahalgam, you will have to come back to Srinagar for a stay at Dal Lake to enjoy your rest of the evening.

The very next day and early morning, visit "Gulmarg". It's generally very cold so one has to be prepared in layers of clothes. (We do not have Gulmarg pictures because we had to cancel all our bookings due to extreme bad weather)

Gulmarg is a 52 kms/2 hour drive from Srinagar and one can opt for various activities there - "Gandola ride and Pony ride". If you are an expert in skiing, this is the perfect place for you.
