Kashmir is the northwestern region of the Indian subcontinent. Historically the term Kashmir was used to refer to the valley lying between the Great Himalayas and the Pir Panjal range. Cradled in the lap of majestic mountains of the Himalayas, Kashmir is the most beautiful place on earth.
Book a cozy and reputed "Dal Lake" property, enjoy the sunset and relax. Take a boat ride on Dal Lake if time permits and you can even shop while boating - Boat Shoppers.
You can take a tourist cab and enjoy the ride from Srinagar to "Pahalgam". Approx. 92 kms drive, around 3 hours you'll reach the famous hill station surrounded by mountains and different valleys.

From Pahalgam, you will have to come back to Srinagar for a stay at Dal Lake to enjoy your rest of the evening.
The very next day and early morning, visit "Gulmarg". It's generally very cold so one has to be prepared in layers of clothes. (We do not have Gulmarg pictures because we had to cancel all our bookings due to extreme bad weather)
Gulmarg is a 52 kms/2 hour drive from Srinagar and one can opt for various activities there - "Gandola ride and Pony ride". If you are an expert in skiing, this is the perfect place for you.
From Gulmarg, you will have to come back to Srinagar for night stay. And next day leave for "Sonmarg". An 80 km drive, approx. 3 hours, Srinagar is 8950 ft. above sea level. One can enjoy the scenic views of "Thajiwas Glaciers". One can opt for Horse Riding enjoy the views closer. If you are good at skiing, this is again a perfect place for you.
You can cross "Zozila Pass" (hopefully security should allow you that, it depends on the weather and local conditions). Enroute, one must visit "Hazaratbal Dargah".
